Updated: Feb 26

Written by: Sindy Victor, MS, BCBA, LBA

Swarthy Lion Behavioral Health & Wellness LLC offers individual and group supervision opportunities for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) wanting to sit for the BACB Behavior Analyst Certification Exam. Supervision is defined as any activity that is related to the training, assessment, and or performance of the RBT while they are conducting restricted and unrestricted treatment tasks in compliance with BACB Supervision Standards.

Technicians who are currently providing behavior analytic services and who wish to work towards the BCBA certification can receive ongoing supervision and training from Sindy Victor, MS, BCBA, LBA in order to fulfill the supervision requirements as needed. An RBT who wishes to prepare for the BCBA exam must complete the required fieldwork hours as outlined by the BACB (see current edition task list for exam preparation).

Benefits Of Supervision

  1. Establishing professional boundaries

  2. Setting clear expectations for treatment integrity

  3. Promotes collaboration between the supervisee(s) and the clinician

  4. Fosters an environment of open communication

  5. An opportunity to gain insight from appropriate role models

  6. Receive ongoing feedback and support to address professional goals

Eligible ABA Therapists/RBTs that are not employees of Swarthy Lion Behavioral Health & Wellness LLC, and/or who wish to receive BCBA supervision services with a client not currently receiving ABA services directly from Sindy Victor, MS, BCBA, LBA, will be required to provide a copy of the organization's authorization forms signed by the client’s caregivers/providing organization prior to the onset of the supervision relationship.
