Self Management In Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Self Management Training In ABA

Self-management strategies can be used to change behaviors associated with private events or that are unobservable by others. Ideal for learners ready for increased levels of independence, our self management training techniques are individualized to help each learner actualize their daily objectives. This may include independence with toileting, money management skills, and other executive functioning strategies that can build confidence in one's abilities! By contriving opportunities for a learner to practice self-management skills in the formal treatment setting, our practitioners promote the likelihood of an individual accessing similar contingencies in many other environments. This type of training is also ideal for learners in the classroom setting as it reduces the amount of dependency on a teacher’s direction and feedback.
