Behavioral Sleep Treatment
Children with autism suffer with insomnia at higher rates than typically developing children (Devnani & Hedge, 2015). People with insomnia often have difficulties falling asleep, staying asleep, or getting good quality sleep. Poor sleep can impact memory and concentration (NHLBI, 2022). It can also carry over into adulthood and promote the likelihood of obesity. Our Behavioral Sleep Treatment Program is based on the behavior analytic principles of establishing and abolishing operations.
